This is a wonderful pick-me-up for a midday snack. It is also a great snack for kids. The baby carrots and/or vanilla will naturally sweeten this recipe so that sugar should not be necessary. Freezing the fruit first means you don’t have to use ice. That means you don’t have to drink a watered down smoothie.
Mixed Fruit And Carrot Smoothie
1 cup milk (I use coconut milk or almond milk)
1 cup peaches, mangoes and strawberries mixed together, frozen
4-8 baby carrots
Blend all ingredients together until thick.
*Optional – Vanilla or honey are also a great way to sweeten this recipe up to avoid adding extra sugars.
What is your favorite smoothie drink? I would love to have your questions and comments.
*Make a frosty glass/mug to keep your smoothie cold longer. Wet your chosen glass inside and out with water and do not dry it off. Place it wet, and right side up into your freezer. After at least an hour your frosty glass/mug is ready to use.
